Through the Staff Portal, policy owners access a role-based document library for document drafting, collaboration, reviews and approvals. Governance is set to segment documents between departments. Once a document is published the policy owner can setup the automated acknowledgement process through email, targeted at employee groups to which the policy applies and track responses.
After initial publishing and acknowledgements, SP Policy Manager also automatically sends reminders to Policy Owners for renewal and expiration. Policy staff can report on Policy Acknowlegements status via list views (reports) and through Power BI Dashboards.
My Policies Portal: Connecting Employees with Policies
The main objective for policy management is driving compliance across the organization. To do this you need to connect employees to the right policies based on their division, location, team or role.
SP Policy Manager provides an easy to use MyPolicies Portal where employees can search and browse current policies, see the latest policy news and events, get questions answered through a knowledgebase or make a policy request.
Additionally, they can see a history of their policy acknowledgements they have done through email via the automated Policy Acknowledgement features.
