Every organisation that buys a CRM makes a quiet decision about who is in charge.
Sometimes the software supports the way you already sell. Sometimes the business gets reshaped around it: pipeline stages named after somebody else's process, required fields filled with placeholder text so a record can be saved, a weekly export into a spreadsheet because the built-in reporting answers a question nobody is asking. Smaller teams feel this hardest. A CRM designed for a two hundred person sales organisation does not get simpler when a ten person company buys it, and the people absorbing that complexity are the ones who were supposed to be selling. SP CRM Core was built the other way round. It is designed for SMEs, not-for-profits and small local government, and it installs into your own Microsoft 365 tenancy rather than a vendor's cloud. Staff already work in SharePoint and Teams, so training is short. It is reached anywhere Microsoft 365 is reached. It is fully customisable, so the product bends to your sales process. Your customer data stays in your own tenancy. |
